Interface DoubleSetter<T>

T - generic type

Functional Interface:

This is a functional interface and can therefore be used as the assignment target for a lambda expression or method reference.

public interface DoubleSetter<T>

Procedure with a generic and a double argument.

Especially useful for handling setting properties which have a double value.

 class A
 {
   private double value;

   public double getValue()
   {
     return value;
   }

   public void setValue(double value)
   {
     this.value = value;
   }
 }
 // [...]
 DoubleSetter<A> valueSetter = A::setValue;
 

The other way round, i.e. a DoubleGetter, is already provided by the standard library: see ToDoubleFunction.
